I fond this hard because I couldn't find enough information  for the eagle ray.

Reflection: I am learning to make a prediction based on the cover and blurb. I was successful when I answered all the question and make a prediction. I found it tricky when I did the key words. My next step is to is to get better at finding key words.

I have been learning to respond to a text using my prior knowledge.  I found this easy because I had the book to read and find information.  My next step is to use personal experiences to connect ideas in the text.           

Skimming and Scanning Information

My reflection
We have been learning to find and summarize information by skimming and scanning.  Skimming and scanning are fast reading techniques to help you find the main ideas or information quickly in a text.  We read a story about white tailed spiders.  I used scamming and scanning to read this text.  I found this easy because I had the book and it had the book and the book had the answers in it.  My next step is to us skimming  and scanning more often.
